What a week

The week sure has gone by quickly. It is now Friday - my last entry was close to a week ago, on Sunday night. I was complaining about how bad our football teams are. This week's talk radio is all about how maybe the 49ers will end up with Reggie Bush. Is that a good thing or now. There are opinions on both sides. If we got him we would have the game breaker that we need and we would be back to scoring touchdowns. If we trade him we can fill a number of holes on the defensive line, wide receiver, etc.

But that isn't what I wanted to talk about. This week it is all about how close we are getting to Christmas and the vacation that we are getting ready to go on. Anthony and Nick don't know that we are on our way to Hawaii NEXT SATURDAY! We are going to have them pack up as if we are going to PG. Get in the car. And drive to SFO. It will be fun to see how long it takes for them to realize that we are not heading in the right direction:) My guess is that it will be a half hour. They will be reading their books and at some point will look up and not see the sand dunes and ask - "where are we?"

We will then give them an envelope. The envelope will have some money in it to spend while on vacation. In the envelope will be a clue as to where we are going. Maybe a word scramble with words like Hawaii or Maui or Hula or if we get really mean Mele Kaliki Maka. It might take a while ... but they will get it:)

So I am really excited. I can't wait. And I can't wait until we can put them through this next Saturday.
